Samson delivered a standout performance against Delhi Capitals, contributing an unbeaten 87 off 52 balls. Irfan Pathan compared his role in the dressing room to that of MS Dhoni.
Pathan stated, “Sanju Samson’s contribution in the Chennai dressing room has been great. We have seen MS Dhoni contribute in every manner… Sanju is playing the same role.” This comparison highlights the significant impact Samson has had on the team.
