Man shot close to Illinois Institute of Expertise on Chicago’s South Aspect

CHICAGO (CBS) — A person was critically damage after he was shot close to the Illinois Institute of Expertise and Chicago police headquarters Wednesday evening.

It occurred simply after 11 p.m. within the 3500 block of South Dearborn Road within the Bronzeville neighborhood.

Chicago police say a person, 39, was standing outdoors when a number of bullets hit him.

He was taken to the College of Chicago Medical Heart in essential situation with two gunshot wounds to his leg and one to the stomach.

Nobody is in custody.

Space 1 detectives have been investigating.
